As practitioners are using the ZYTO software with the BICOM Optima library, I have received some interesting questions and feedback about how it is working for them. In human and in veterinary practices, BICOM practitioners are finding very gratifying results and accurate correlation of the test results with their patients' conditions. For example, a BICOM practitioner in the United States reported using a biosurvey to help a friend (also a BICOM practitioner) find the best program to treat his back pain. He had tried many programs in the past, with only partial improvement, until he tried the program indicated by his ZYTO scan. When he ran that program, his back pain completely resolved! Using the infectious diseases biosurvey, they are able to quickly resolve their family members' cold and flu symptoms. With our wicked flu season this year, this is a really valuable benefit! There have been several new biosurveys created and published in the past month: Rickettsial or Tick-borne diseases, Environmental Toxin stress, and Degenerated Cells (cancer) biosurvey. Many more are "under construction", as suggested by practitioners: Arthritis, Renal disease, Liver disease, Eye disorders, Nutrient Points, Dental stress, and possibly an Auto-immune disorders biosurvey.

A few interesting cases

I thought readers might enjoy a few examples of how this biocommunication software is helping my patients. It's always fascinating to me to see the correlation between the patient and the test results, and even more gratifying to have positive outcomes by following the therapy regimen indicated by the test results.
1. "Woodie", a young male yellow Labrador retriever, has suffered with allergies for two and a half years. He has food intolerances, environmental allergies, and vaccine reactions. He had been taking steroids and immune suppressive drugs, but still had horrible itching and skin infections. Since starting a home-cooked diet, BICOM therapy and reducing his medications, he has been steadily improving. The owners went away for 2 weeks, leaving Woodie with their son, who has a cat. Woodie's condition worsened (he may have also eaten some of the cat's food), and when he came back in for another evaluation we used the environmental allergy biosurvey to test for new stresses. The ZYTO testing indicated the cat was a significant allergen for him, and it even pinpointed the BICOM substance complex "Allergy, cat hairs"! We did the BICOM treatment protocol, and by the next day his itching had subsided.

2. "Blue", a middle-aged male black Labrador retriever, also suffered for years with allergies that presented as breathing difficulty or asthma, which progressed to episodes of seizures or syncope. The owner was distraught and at her wits end when she first brought Blue in for an evaluation in 2008, because numerous examinations by internal medicine specialists had failed to identify the cause of Blue's health problems. He had been repeatedly anesthetized and his airways scoped, cultured and even biopsied, with the only recommendation being steroid treatment for life. We started BICOM therapy, identified his allergies, changed his diet, and Blue began making remarkable progress toward full health. His health became 'the best it's ever been", according to the owner, when all of a sudden he developed a seemingly new problem: he was hallucinating and flinching whenever someone tried to touch him! His physical exam findings were normal, and there was no history of access to toxins. As I had just acquired the ZYTO software and scanned in the Substance Complex programs from the Optima, we gave it a try. The preferred program was "Exposure / Stress -- PCP". Well, how do you ask an owner if someone slipped their dog an illegal hallucinogenic drug?! But something way back in my memories from pharmacology class in veterinary school came forward: PCP, also known as "angel dust", has chemical properties similar to Ketamine, which is an anesthetic drug commonly used in veterinary patients. Blue was actually re-experiencing the effects of the Ketamine that was repeatedly administered to anesthetize him. He was detoxifying, and this stored toxin was recirculating before exiting his body. So, we did the BICOM therapy as the testing indicated, and within 5 minutes he became a normal, happy dog again. There is NO WAY I would have figured out what was wrong without the help of the ZYTO!

Many people have commented on how this technology is "long overdue" for BICOM practitioners. Why hasn't anyone done this before? Well, perhaps it's because we all get comfortable with the way things have always been done, so we aren't motivated to change them. For example, I was pretty comfortable using kinesiology and bio-tensor testing for all my patients getting the BICOM treatments, and would have been content to just keep doing this. However, when other doctors expressed interest in BICOM bioresonance therapy and asked how do we determine which programs to run for our patients, the discomfort would begin: Their looks of skepticism when I bring out the tensor, their reluctance to do muscle testing with their clients or learn this technique, and the lack of any printout of test results, all would lead to them changing their mind about BICOM -- especially if they were a conventional medical practitioner. I thought there must be a way for this wonderful technology (BICOM bioresonance therapy) to become a mainstream treatment, even in conventional practice settings!
Then, I saw the ZYTO being demonstrated at the American Veterinary Holistic Medical Association's annual conference, 3 years ago. You could probably actually see a light bulb come on over my head, as I literally "saw the light" about integrating ZYTO's decision-tree evaluation software technology, with BICOM bioresonance therapy! THIS is how we can get BICOM into every practice, of every kind, all over the world.
So now, I'm here to tell you, that there is now a better way to practice bioresonance therapy. Using your BICOM devices, whether the 2000 or the Optima (although honestly, I must admit I do love the Optima more, and highly recommend upgrading to it if you can!), plus using the ZYTO Elite software to determine which programs to run, is resulting in more efficient patient visits and improved therapy outcomes, as well as more patients from referrals. Isn't that what we all want from our equipment?

These are just a few of the countries from which BICOM practitioners have responded about using the new ZYTO biocommunication software to test their patients for BICOM programs. I anticipate many more "welcomes" in many more languages to come! I am excited to show you this innovation, and even more excited to have you start using it in your practices.
